In March 2006, Mid Europa acquired 100% of the Company. Aster was Poland's first quadruple-play service provider, offering television, broadband Internet and mobile and fixed line telephony services, and was the first operator to introduce digital CATV services, triple and quadruple-play. With approximately 380,000 subscribers, at the time of exit, it was the fourth largest CATV operator and the third largest broadband Internet service provider in Poland.

The Fund's stake in Aster was sold to UPC Polska Sp. z o.o., an affiliate of Liberty Global, in 2011.
