Matthew is a Partner of Mid Europa Partners. Prior to joining the team in 2002, he was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in London and with JP Morgan in London and in New York. Previously, he was with TLC Capital Partners, a New York buy-out firm.

Matthew holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A. from INSEAD, France. Matthew is based in our London office.

Matthew was involved in the Fund I investment and recapitalisations of Invitel, and the financing of the Bité buyout and serves on the Boards of Aster and the Lux Med Group.

Most recently, he led the buyout and recapitalisation of Aster and the series of four acquisitions which have built up the Lux Med Group.
