In October 2007 Mid Europa acquired 100% of Lux Med and Medycyna Rodzinna, respectively the second and the sixth largest private healthcare providers in Poland. Mid Europa then acquired 100% of CM LIM, the third largest private healthcare provider in Poland, in August 2008 and 100% of Promedis, the eighth largest provider in September 2008.

The Lux Med Group is the number one provider of private out-patient healthcare in Poland, offering high quality and comprehensive medical services to all segments of the Polish market, including access to primary care doctors, specialists and one-day hospital facilities to more than one million clients. With a network of 70 branded clinics and over 1,000 affiliates, the combined companies have the largest nationwide network of clinics in Poland, situated in 12 Polish cities in complementary locations.

Lux Med and CM LIM clinics are focused mainly on the business segment of the market, offering high quality services to corporate, insurance and individual patients.

The Medycyna Rodzinna and Promedis brands are primarily serving the economy segment of the market, with Medycyna Rodzinna concentrating on insurance and public patients and Promedis serving the economy part of the corporate subscription segment of the market.
