In February 2007 Mid Europa, together with executives and directors acquired 100% of Baltic mobile operator Bité. The company is the number two mobile operator in Lithuania according to revenue, and the number three operator in Latvia, with a total subscriber base of approximately 1.2 million subscribers.

In both countries Bité offers a wide range of mobile services, internet access and data services for both business and residential customers. Presently Bité is the only provider of Blackberry services and pre-paid wireless broadband in both countries.
