Mid Europa Partners Announces 2010 Promotions

Mid Europa Partners (“Mid Europa”), the largest private equity firm focused on buyouts in Central Europe, announced today its 2010 promotions list. Nikolaus Bethlen and Stefan Tzvetkov have been promoted to Directors, with Pawel Padusinski and Cezary Pietrasik advancing to the Associate Director level, and Tomasz Blicharski and Vladislav Ratajac to Senior Associate.

Nikolaus Bethlen joined Mid Europa in 2007 and is based in Budapest. Nikolaus has worked on a number of investments including Orange Austria, Falcon and most recently Invitel. Prior to joining Mid Europa, he worked at Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co and Morgan Stanley & Co in London. Nikolaus has a B.A. in Economics from Durham University.

 

Stefan Tzvetkov joined Mid Europa in 2008 and is based in London. Stefan has contributed to the SBB and Telemach transactions. Prior to joining Mid Europa, Stefan worked at Rhône Group, both in New York and London, and JPMorgan in New York. He graduated with a B.A. with honours in Economics from the College of Wooster and holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD.

 

Pawel Padusinski joined Mid Europa in 2005 and is based in Warsaw. Pawel has worked on a number of transactions, including Wheelabrator, DISA and all of the Lux Med Group investments. Prior to joining Mid Europa, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Warsaw. Pawel received his M.A. in Finance and Banking and Strategic Management from the Warsaw School of Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

 

Cezary Pietrasik joined Mid Europa in 2006 and is based in Warsaw. Cezary has been involved in Mid Europa’s investment in Bité and the acquisition of Invitel. Prior to joining the team, he worked for JP Morgan in London and McKinsey in Warsaw. Cezary holds an M.A. in Management from the London School of Economics and an M.A. in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics.

 

Tomasz Blicharski joined Mid Europa in 2007 and is based in Warsaw. Tomasz has been focused on the investment in Wheelabrator, the acquisition of DISA and the subsequent merger of the two companies. Prior to joining Mid Europa, he worked for ABN AMRO and BNP Paribas. Tomasz received his M.A. in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics.

 

Vladislav Ratajac joined Mid Europa in 2008 and is based in Budapest. Vladislav has been involved in several investments, including Bité and Invitel. Prior to joining the team, he was with Deutsche Bank in New York and London. Vladislav holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University.
